In making the case the Trump was always weak, David Wallace-Wells in the NYTimes points out:
It may seem ridiculous to say [that Trump and MAGA were always weak], given Trump’s domination of the American political landscape for the last decade and the concrete damage his movement has done to American institutions and the country’s faith in them. But over three presidential campaigns, Trump won eight million fewer votes than his Democratic opponents. Add up the days when more Americans approved of him than disapproved of him since he descended the golden escalator, and you get about two weeks.
With resolve, we can bring down this regime and it helps to know that the majority disapprove of him and have for almost all of the last 10 years. Solidarity!
